Serverette and its Necropolis

An atypical site in the middle of nature, Cagnot is home to 17 tombs carved right out of granite. Some archaeologists have ventured to evoke Gallo-Roman burial grounds, but nothing has yet been proven. This necropolis, first discovered in the 19th century and then rediscovered in 1942, continues to arouse curiosity. Starting from Serverette, several walking trails lead you to this anthropo-archaeological enigma.
