Quality commitments to welcome you better

The Tourism Office of Margeride en Gévaudan has chosen to undertake a voluntary process of Category II classification. This corresponds to the following context of intervention :

The Tourist Office classified in category II is of medium size, operating in a geographical area that welcomes a growing number of tourists. It offers a variety of services, develops a targeted promotion policy and has tools for listening and improving the quality of services provided.

A unifying role

The classification of a structure thus constitutes a powerful lever to reinforce the federating role of the Tourism Office. In particular with regard to the tourist action to be developed in its geographical area of intervention: structuring of its missions, links with the local tourist actors, continuous improvement of its services, up-marketing…

This initiative was taken in order to bring a guarantee of professionalism and involvement to our visitors, our professionals and our residents. This classification is intended in particular as a guarantee of :

  • A real quality of welcome, in our Tourist Information Centers as well as on the events we organize
  • Easy access to complete, verified and up-to-date information
  • Holiday counsellors available, connoisseurs of their territory and attentive to their clients’ needs.
  • A process of constant improvement based on customer satisfaction and their possible remarks and complaints.

The objective of the Tourism Office is to be identified both as an ambassador and a trustworthy interlocutor, but also as a source of reliable and verified information, good, adapted and sound advices.

A permanent increase in quality

And since this classification is intended for everyone and not only for visitors, the Tourism Office, as a federator of the many wills and initiatives that fuel the tourism development of Margeride, supports professionals who wish to implement a Quality approach at the level of their establishment, with always one objective in mind : the improvement of quality for the entire local tourism sector.

At the same time, once the classification has been obtained, we will gradually move towards obtaining the Tourism Quality brand. The latter would constitute an additional recognition of our daily work in favor of a high-performance, warm and appropriate welcome for all.
